Nex (demo)
There's a reason that there aren't many first-person puzzle games around, and that reason is Portal. You can't fault Nex for lack of ambition, though, and it certainly tries to do things a little differently. Your particle gun can destroy parts of the environment, allowing your character to escape his pixel prison. The graphics are interesting (especially the effects on the gun) but reviewers call attention to poor controls for jumping and shooting. Here's the full version.

NEx is a 3d puzzle/platformer in the spirit of games like Portal and Zelda. This is the demo of NEx. It will let you play through the first ten levels. If you enjoy it please check out the full version. Note: this app will not be updated as often as the full version now that the game is out of beta.
